Birley worked with the Barclays design team to develop a range of front of house counters, customer interface units and onsite refurbishment of existing counters at a number of flagship stores. The example depicts a range of curved counters which were in individually crafted to suit each branch configuration. This concept was further developed to enable a modular solution which enabled a more cost effective application.

Exterior display areas blossom at Waitrose
Selling plants and shrubs is an increasingly buoyant market for many retailers. As a result, Birley Manufacturing recently secured a major new contract with leading supermarket chain Waitrose to supply a series of horticultural pods.
Signature displays for Signet
Birley was asked by jewellery giant Signet to help with a project to refurbish or relocate 23 units.
Birley Manufacturing were asked to design, manufacture and install new display units at both H Samuel and its premium Ernest Jones stores.
Convenience store makes big impression
Birley has been heavily involved with Waitrose's latest convenience store expansion.
Amersham was one store Waitrose asked Birley to fit out with deli, bakery and checkout areas.
The store was delivered on time and to budget, with the new convenience store proving to be an immediate success with local shoppers.
Fresh design enhances customer convenience
Morrisons in Grafton Street, Manchester was the first in a set of convenience store formats that they are rolling out under the M-Local banner.
The objective of new convenience store formats was to provide more fresh food at better value, with a new fresh crisp design.
Birley created and installed the new concept Food To Go zone. This included bakery and deli back wall, prep areas, display counters for soup, ambient and hot food, as well as juice and hot drinks servery.
Jewel in the crown
When high-quality Leicester jewellers, Lumbers, needed to establish a new in-store concession for Breitling watches, Birley were approached to design, build and supply an elegant solution.
An innovative and visually stunning design of steel and glass was created to display Breitling watches and comprised a three sided steel frame in a glass structure with graphics, backlighting and inset displays.
The result were beautifully crafted units complementing this quality jeweller.
